Towards the North East of Belarus, Vitebsk is very picturesque and surrounded by glaciers. The town still retains several architectural sites, although there have been a lot of new houses, streets, and avenues to replace the extensive post-war damage. The flourishing cultural life and museums full of famous works, this charming neighbourhood attracts many amateur painters. Vitebsk is a lovely place to visit.
