Located at the narrowest point of the Gulf of Bothnia, Vaasa is a pleasant coastal town. It's got the lot - from lazing on beaches, to enjoying rides at the amusement and water parks - from fishing, to exploring the archipelago and talking walks along the shore.
In the evening eat in one of the restaurants around the harbour or at the market square - often with live concerts thrown in.
