Known as the land of pistachios, Aegina is located in the middle of the Saronic Gulf. The city with its picturesque houses, winding alleys and terraced hillsides of olive trees, is great to be explored on foot. Spend a lazy day on the harbour having a drink in one of the cafes lining the quay and watch the “ caiques” unloading . Greek temples, monasteries, churches and museums will also help you enjoy this lovely place.
