It has an incredibly rich natural wealth - with an abundance of wildflowers, framed by snowy mountains, pitted with deep caves. The country has over 40,000 ancient churches and monuments. The Armenian Speleological Society offers guided hikes, caving and mountain expeditions.

- Yerevan-The capital city. Visit Republic Square, the State Historical Museum and the Memorial Monument of Armenian Genocide.
- Jermuk Resort Town - has many parks, and forested areas, with the main attraction being the hot mineral water springs.
- G'ndevaz Village- Visit the 1000 year old well preserved monastery complex and canyon.
- Dilijan Town - Pretty forested town with some traditional architecture. Visit the beautiful monasteries of Haghardzin or Goshavank.
- Syunik Region- Goris has some of the nicest Armenian architecture. Famous for home-made fruit vodkas and medieval caves carved out of the soft rock.
