This tiny Kingdom off the coast of Borneo is better known for its monetary wealth than anything else. There are quite a few things and sights to be explored in this oil-rich state. A strict Islamic country, Bruneians follow customs, traditions and beliefs, which are very similar to those in Peninsular Malaysia.
You could pick up some fine hand worked silverware; brassware and bronze ware such as jugs, trays, gongs, and boxes, fine hand-woven sarongs, baskets and mats of pandan leaves. Water sports such as swimming, sailing, jet skiing, skin-diving and fishing are popular activities around the Brunei Bay and its islands.
